More AI Models, and an Easier Way to Pick the Right One
The AI chat is where analysis meets action in LamaTrader. You ask questions, get answers grounded in live market data, and trigger strategies without leaving the conversation. This update gives you more AI models to work with, a simpler way to choose between them, and conversations that stay put.
Two New AI Models
LamaTrader already supported OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Ollama. Two more now join the lineup:
- DeepSeek, strong at structured analysis and writing trading strategies
- Qwen, competitive on coding and financial reasoning, and available to run locally through Ollama if you prefer to keep everything on your own machine
More choice is good, but only if you can actually find the right model.
Pick the Right Model for the Job
The AI settings now include a model picker that does the homework for you. Sort models by capability, filter by provider, and see at a glance which ones support the features you care about, such as writing strategies or returning visual answers. Choose the right tool for the task without reading the documentation for each one.
Your Conversations Stick Around
Close the browser, lose your chat. Come back tomorrow, start from zero. That frustration is gone.
Your AI conversations now persist. They survive browser restarts, closed tabs, and switching devices. If a session is interrupted partway through, the platform picks it back up and restores your context instead of leaving you stranded. Your conversations are now as durable as your dashboards, positions, and watchlists.
Revisit What the AI Did
Sometimes a strategy produces a result you want to understand, share, or come back to later. You can now capture a snapshot of a conversation, a complete record of what was asked, what the AI looked at, and what it did. Keep it for your own reference, send it to a colleague, or use it to refine a strategy that did not work the first time. Instead of trying to recreate the exact conditions, you have the whole thing saved.
Getting Started
