1. Information We Collect

• Essential Account data (email, name, username)
• Optional Account data explicitly enabled by you in settings (profile information, dashboard layouts, widget settings and preferences). If you choose local-only settings, those settings remain on your device/browser and are not stored on Lama Trader servers for synchronization.
• Data stored on your device: some features keep their data on your device/browser by default — for example your notifications feed, custom widgets and skills, and layout preferences — unless you enable account synchronization.
• Optional technical data (device type, browser, IP address)
• Optional anonymised usage analytics (how you use dashboards and tools)
• We do not collect or store your brokerage account login credentials.

• To provide and improve the Lama Trader experience.
• To personalise dashboards and analytics.
• To ensure platform security and prevent abuse.

3. Data Sharing

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We may, with your agreement, share anonymised and aggregated data for analytics.

4. Brokerage Integrations

Brokerage connections are handled via secure APIs provided by Alpaca Securities LLC (dba "Alpaca Clearing"). Lama Trader never stores your Alpaca account credentials. Your brokerage account, assets, and transaction history are held and managed by Alpaca, not Lama Trader.

5. AI Features and Third-Party AI Providers

Lama Trader's AI features use the model provider you select (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Qwen, or a local Ollama model).

• When you use AI chat or the builders, your messages and the context they include (which can contain positions, orders, watchlists, or account details) are sent to your selected provider to answer your request, and are handled under that provider's privacy policy.
• If you use a local Ollama model, that content stays on your machine.
• API keys you provide for AI providers are used only to make your requests to that provider.
• We do not use your AI conversations to train models.

6. Data Security

We implement encryption and security best practices to safeguard your information.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
